Twice a year, our kitchen team updates the menu for our café-restaurant. Every six months, evergreen classics are combined with surprising seasonal dishes. For example, guests can enjoy fried squid rings and shrimp croquettes all year through, while summer salads, hearty winter food, mussels, herring and asparagus are featured on the menu during their respective seasons.
For a bright start to your day, our breakfast buffet is open from 7.00 a.m. while main courses for dinner can be ordered until 11.00 p.m.
Small dishes, such as sandwiches or pasta, can even be ordered until midnight – ideal for after a show at the theatre.
Of course, there are also various dishes for children on the menu, so there is nothing to stop the even smallest sailors and captains at Hotel New York from joining their parents for dinner.
We are especially proud of our genuine Rotterdam oyster bar, where freshly prepared shellfish are served daily. Our specialized oyster bar cooks will be happy to prepare a delicious seafood platter, half a lobster or portion of whelks for you.
For guests with a sweet tooth, Hotel New York’s own patisserie prepares all our cakes and pies. Every day, our pastry chefs prepare Hotel New York’s traditional tompouces, chocolate éclairs and – of course – our afternoon tea.
We regret that dogs are not allowed after 5.00 p.m.
